Every bit of support helps, including a gift of time!

• Ushers/ Ticket Takers:

  • ​These volunteer positions are most important. Ushers offer hospitality to patrons and are the human face of ‘Friends of Music’. Ushers welcome patrons, answer questions, and help our guests to find a seat and address any special needs. We want ushers to feel like we are welcoming very special friends into our home.

• Publicity:

  • Promotion makes our concerts possible. Volunteers are ambassadors as they deliver posters and brochures to Wolfeboro, Tuftonboro, Alton, Ossipee businesses and display locations.

• Refreshments and Artists Hospitality:

  • WFOM offer free refreshments to patrons at intermission. We welcome ‘culinary partners’ who are willing to bake cookies, pastries, or other ‘tasty treats’ to be offered to patrons. We trust your creative instincts!

  • ​Most concerts require refreshments and dinner for artists in the dressing room, backstage area. We welcome volunteers to help us shop and prepare buffet meals prior to the concert.

• Stage Hands/ Security:

  • Pre-show and post-show: Most concerts require sound, music, and lighting equipment installation. We always welcome assistance loading and unloading and helping to ‘set the stage’.

  • During the performance, artists frequently request that security staff protect their personal property in the dressing room area. We do our best to provide safety and security for touring artists.
